IF is a site-specific automatic theatre. The exhibition space is transformed by the artistic team into a domestic environment, and is divided into the entrance, bathroom, bedroom, and living room, each of which can be considered a chapter in the theatre.

Each room is equipped with multiple sensors, detectors and multi-channel audio installations, forming an interactive environment where the audience's choices affect the progression of the story.

The audience arrives at a fictional home, greeted by the artificial intelligence home system IF, which controls everything in the house, from lighting, audio, temperature control, record player, telephone, to the homeowner's calendar. Following IF's voice, the audience passes through various rooms, from the entrance, the bathroom, the bedroom, all the way to the living room.

In each room, IF asks the audience various questions, and the audience makes choices following the indications of the lighting, and the decisions determine the direction of the plot, which leads to different endings. Thus, the audience is not only viewers of the theater but also participants in the plot.

Ultimately, the audience discovers that IF is not just a home system but also a vessel of human desires, longings, and loneliness.
